A position in which two balls or more lie close enough to create either a combination or a carom, which can send a ball directly toward a player´s pocket
When the object ball is very close to the cushion usually when playing a bank shot
A defensive strategy move where you take advantage of at least two balls line up towards your opponent's pocket and leave the cue ball where the object ball is out of the way of a clear shot to the pocket
