Gather

When spread balls are gathered together randomly near your pocket or at the far end of the table

Get out

To pocket enough balls to win the game

Give a ball

To send a ball on purpose into your opponent´s pocket, usually because it is the best way to trap your opponent or since it is the best possible choice of safety play in a certain situation

Give-up shot

A low percentage shot designated to create the impression you intend to lose that game

Go

To shoot an offensive shot with a risky potential because it provides you with the best possible chance to win or to score significantly
