Terms used in the one pocket billiard game starting with the letter I:

In-off

A shot, in which an object ball caroms another ball, causes it to redirect its path toward the pocket; usually played on purpose when the path to the pocket is blocked or when it is the best possible way to get to the cue ball

In play

The opposite of out of play; when the balls are available from many different cue ball positions

In the one hole

When only one more ball is needed in order to win the game

Intentional foul

When a player scratches the cue ball intentionally; usually to play a safety
